Literature Text

To exist is to live, and to live is to die repeatedly.

In these years, I have learned to watch my step, for every move forward that I make is more difficult than the last, and the emotion that releases the defeating pain grows more sharply and more unbearable than before.

The lessons are taught, but at a hefty price. And for one who's views are already so small, the piper comes, his hand extended, demanding his dues. How could it be possible to die a thousand deaths in one?

I would sacrifice all that I had to be struck with mercy, as I've realized my fate will be nothing less than a tragedy, and my existence nothing more than a memory.

Screams ring throughout the night, haunting the black skies.

My voice had become raspy, and could no longer carry words. My once gentle ear could no longer tolerate sound, and my fragile heart could no longer endure the suffering, the price that had to be paid.

The world is a graveyard, shallow and unanimate. The earth is cold, and grungy against my toes, while the wind roars in my face.

These tear-filled eyes never blink, they only stare, until the vision fades to black.

The shattered illusions cloud me, the delusions of my body being ripped apart by fallen angels at my feet. My soul is that of broken glass in my hands, as I feel the thorns of life.

If I shall get to tread the bridge of salvation, that will be my only chance to escape, and my only hope of comfort.
Have you ever felt like you've suffered your whole life? More often than not, we've all gone through some incredibly bad times. At these times, you learn the most lessons, and you also discover your greatest strengths. Without these times, we cannot truly cherish what good times we do have. What people often do is give in to fear, and just quit, instead of using their heads and their perspectives to overcome whatever tragedy that they face.

Of course it is much easier to surrender than to fight, but what do you gain by that? Life has much more meaning when you realize what's worth fighting for.

You certainly shouldn't forget that the better days will come. Because the power to overcome is much greater than the power to inflict, and if you quit, you'll never know what could have been.

The bridge is never too far out of reach that you can't cross it. Keep this in mind.

Lyrics of "Our Solemn Hour:"

Sanctus Espiritus, redeem us from our solemn hour
Sanctus Espiritus, insanity is all around us

Sanctus Espiritus!
Sanctus Espiritus!
Sanctus Espiritus!

In my darkest hours, I could not foresee
That the tide could turn so fast to this degree
Can't believe my eyes, how can you be so blind?
Is the heart of stone, no empathy inside?

Time keeps on slipping away and we haven't learned
So in the end now what have we gained?

Sanctus Espiritus, redeem us from our solemn hour
Sanctus Espiritus, insanity is all around us
Sanctus Espiritus, is this what we deserve?
Can we break free from chains of never-ending agony?

Are they themselves to blame. the misery, the pain?
Didn't we let go, allowed it, let it grow?
If we can't restrain the beast which dwells inside
It will find its way somehow, somewhere in time

Will we remember all of the suffering
'Cause if we fail it will be in vain

Sanctus Espiritus, redeem us from our solemn hour
Sanctus Espiritus, insanity is all around us
Sanctus Espiritus, is this what we deserve?
Can we break free from chains of never-ending agony?

Sanctus Espiritus!
Sanctus Espiritus!

Sanctus Espiritus, redeem us from our solemn hour
Sanctus Espiritus, insanity is all around us
Sanctus Espiritus, is this what we deserve?
Can we break free from chains of never-ending agony?

Sanctus Espiritus, redeem us from our solemn hour
Sanctus Espiritus, insanity is all around us
Sanctus Espiritus, is this what we deserve?
Can we break free from chains of never-ending agony?

Enjoy.

Definitely relative. I felt like this on countless occasions. Once again the feeling was captured remarkably well.
